    Seeking Artisans

We are currently accepting new Artisans with the Knot & Bauble Shoppe. Our goal is to provide a synergistic collective of artists, artisans and crafters who create high-quality, unique art and craft works that will be kept as cherished treasures or given as unique, meaningful special occasion gifts to friends, family, and business associates. If this sounds like you, please keep reading!
Our artisans and crafters who create our beautiful products appreciate the benefits of selling at knotnbauble.com.

First, while some of our artisans have their own websites, knotnbauble.com gives them greater exposure through our state-of-the-art internet marketing and advertising. In addition, they know that buyers would rather search one website for a variety of items than have to search multiple narrow category sites.

Second, the price is right! Knotnbauble.com does the work for you 24/7, rain or shine. You can use knotnbauble.com as a supplement to, not a substitute for your present marketing efforts.

Third, some of our crafters only make one item or one category of items, and they don’t have the quantity or diversity of products to have their own booth at a show or their own website. Knotnbauble.com is a great way for you to test the salability and profitability of your creations.

If you create quality, hand crafted items, give us a call at 651.442.4342 and let us help you with your decision.

Alternately, you can also sign up on our website under the link for “Become a KnB Artisan.” If you have any questions you can always contact us at the number above—we are always available and willing to help you get started.

    Breast Cancer Awareness Program

The Knot & Bauble Shoppe will be opening a new line of products specifically to support Breast Cancer Awareness.

SaM’s Beads & Baubles and Sewing Bee Crafts are both teaming together to support this cause and would like you to know that for each and every sale of their items in this category they will give 50% of the sales to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Did you know that 10 million people around the world could die from breast cancer in the next 25 years without the cure?
The foundation is dedicated to curing breast cancer at every stage - from the causes to the cure, to the pain and anxiety of every moment in between.

    Serving people, saving lives.

Energizing science: They have supported every advance in breast cancer research over the past 25 years. Empowering people, ensuring quality care for all: Komen for the Cure provides community grants for breast health and treatment. Knot & Bauble Shoppe Joins METRo IBA

The Knot & Bauble Shoppe has recently become a member of the Metro Independent Business Alliance (METRO IBA), which is a non-profit organization that helps promote local Minnesota Businesses in the Twin Cities Metro area.

The Knot & Bauble Shoppe became their first online local business in April of this year.

If you are not familiar with the METRO IBA, the following is a bit of information about the organization courtesy of METRO, IBA.

MetroIBA is a non-profit organization working to support and preserve locally owned, independent businesses in the Twin Cities region.

MetroIBA’s mission is to help the Twin Cities maintain its unique community character, provide continuing opportunities for entrepreneurs, build economic strength, and create an environment where locally owned, independent businesses grow and flourish.

    Their three goals are:

    To promote local independents.
To educate consumers on the value of shopping at local businesses.
To improve conditions for local independents by influencing public policy.

Supporting locally owned, independent businesses keeps more of your money in your community.

When you spend $1 at a local independent, an average of 68 cents is re-circulated into the local economy. In contrast, when you spend $1 at a national chain, only about 43 cents stays at home. If Twin Cities consumers shift even 10% of their spending from chains to locals for one day, the Twin Cities economy gains some $2 million.*

If you or anyone you know might be interested in the METRO IBA, you can receive more information on the requirements of becoming a member of the organization by visiting their website at: www. metroiba.org

t’s a great place to get informational resources, as well as teaming up with other businesses to promote our local establishments.

You can also visit a list of all the members and their stores online. There are many stores that are extremely worthy businesses to shop, and you have the added incentive of supporting our local economy.
